Coordinated Community Access Visit

Disability support services can enjoy a unique opportunity for their clients with community access coordinated support. Clients can spend time enjoying the peaceful surroundings and interacting with our gentle ponies and adorable mini-goats.

We suggest to limit the group size to 8 participants plus support workers. This experience is perfect for those looking for a day trip for clients to explore the beauty of nature in a small and relaxed setting.

We welcome friends of all ages for this hands-on experience, ensuring participants are comfortable, engaging at their own pace.

You are welcome to BYO morning tea or picnic lunch.

Picnic tables and umbrellas are available.

FAQs

How many support workers should accompany the group?

Support workers are welcome without cost to enjoy the animal fun together with their clients. The number of workers can be determined by the service, based on client need.

Can you ride the ponies?
The pony interaction will be on ground only, including patting, cuddling, feeding, grooming and leading.

Can I bring a treat for the animals?

Yes our ponies and goats LOVE apples and carrots, which you are welcome to bring if you choose.

2 pieces would be plenty, cut up into small chunks to share with the animals. This can be a nice part of getting ready to go to the farm.

Are the ponies safe?

The ponies are gentle and well handled. They do not have bite or kick in their nature at all. However, they are large animals and clients will need supervising to ensure the safety of everyone including the ponies.

Everyone entering the horse yard must have enclosed shoes.
